2008 and its slew of blessings

I should have posted this 2 weeks ago, in lieu of Thanksgiving. Pastor Rico said that instead of having the usual wishlist for Christmas, why not simply give thanks for the blessings you already have? 2008 is definitely one of the best years for me, and here are the main reasons why:

5. My Job
I had been praying for a new job when the previous one I had wasn't fruitful for me anymore. So far, I am enjoying the resources and fulfillment without the hairfall from stress. Yes, there are definitely tough times - I am still adjusting and I still have a lot to learn. But I really enjoy what I am doing right now, and this is where I intend to stay.

4. Good Health
Me and my family have been relatively healthy this year. Minus my mom's vertigo episodes, there were not much visits to the hospital. I am also working my way to a healthier lifestyle - better food intake in controlled quantities, walkathons, surfing, etc. :)

3. My Friends
Though it takes quite some time for me to warm up to new people, I have made great new friends this year. With the new job and Victory, I have met people who I am now good friends with.
And for my dear friends who I have had the past few years, I can definitely say that we have grown closer and have become better friends.
You know who you guys are. Know that you are appreciated, and that I am *really* thankful that I have you as friends. ^__^

2. My Family
I'm just so happy that they are supportive of me, despite my shortcomings. Things have definitely gotten better at home (compared to how we were last year), and I'm just very thankful everything is in its right place.
Oh, and Mike is also counted as family, so :P Happiness!!!

1. My Salvation, His love and faithfulness
Having a personal relationship with Him has always been important more than anything else. I am His creation, I am His child, I am His disciple. I am still a work in progress, and I will strive to be a better Christian and testament to His goodness. :)

Here's to more fruitful, blessed and hopeful years like 2008! :D
